Who we support
We are committed to offering support not only to local organisations but also to our mission partners who work tirelessly in different parts of the world. We support and pray for these partners as they carry out their vital work.
Open Doors
St Paul’s is a partner church with Open Doors a charity working to support persecuted Christians around the world.
We hold a monthly prayer meeting for the suffering church on the first Thursday of every month as well as supporting Open Doors financially and in other ways.
The Bible Society
The Bible Society works in the UK and across the world to make the Bible available to everyone.
The Society translates and distributes the Bible, creating digital formats, advocating for its place in society, and helping people make sense of it in their everyday lives.
Military Ministries International
Military Ministries International helps Christians in the military to make a difference in many of the world’s trouble spots.
Trussell
Trussell exists so that everyone can be free from hunger.
Trussell is an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks. It was founded by former members of St Paul’s.
The Bridge Project
The Bridge works in local schools to help with the RE curriculum and to provide chaplaincy-style support through emotional literacy, mentoring and pastoral support for those with recognised difficulties.
Salisbury Street Pastors
Street Pastors are volunteers from different churches who care about the safety and wellbeing of their community.
Street Pastors provide peaceful and practical help on the night time streets and a caring, listening and helpful presence.
Precept Ministries UK
Precept teaches simple, practical and effective skills for understanding and living out the Bible’s teaching.
Precept Ministries’ European Directors are members of St Paul’s and work with churches, groups and individuals throughout the UK.
Rachel (Fishy) Haddock
Jinja, Uganda
Fishy is part of the YWAM team (Youth With A Mission) based in Jinja in SW Uganda. Their focus through their ‘ToRCH’ (Together Restoring Community Hope) project includes:
a Health Clinic with community health outreach
Church leadership training and visits from volunteers
Children’s ministry through orphan support and education sponsorship
Fishy is a trained midwife and her responsibilities include advising on medical work, administration, helping with volunteer visits, and caring for her three teenage stepdaughters.
Deborah and Sandro Cruz
Hertfordshire, UK
Deborah and Sandro are based at the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) headquarters in Harpenden where they are involved in various ministries in the UK and overseas.
They lead one of the UK’s ‘YWAM Discipleship Training Schools’. This is bilingual as both are Spanish speakers and involves an initial 12 week lecture phase followed by practical outreach in the UK and a Spanish speaking country abroad.
With their gifts in visual arts and dance, Deborah and Sandro are pioneering the use of arts in communication, outreach, prayer and worship through YWAM’s ‘University of the Nations’.
Nic and Sarah Arkley
Vancouver, Canada
Nic and Sarah Arkley moved to Vancouver Canada in May 2019 having completed training for ministry in the UK.
In September 2020 they planted a new church in a developing residential area called South Surrey, British Columbia.
Projects Delivering Hope
South Sudan
Projects Delivering Hope (PDH) serves the people of South Sudan by delivering tailor-made aid through practical projects.
Working largely with the business community, PDH provides short term aid to help South Sudanese communities support themselves in the long term.
Jess Regnart
South Wales
Jess works for Freedom in Christ Ministries (FICM) overseeing their work to equip the church to disciple teenagers and young adults.
Working on the production of new resources, she spearheaded and co-presented FICM’s new resource for 18-35s, “Disciple”.
When not working on new resources, Jess teaches church leaders and youth leaders around the UK.
A Rocha UK
A Rocha UK is a Christian charity working to protect and restore the natural world.
A Rocha is committed to equipping Christians and churches in the UK to care for the environment. This includes the Eco Church programme.
St Paul’s holds an Eco Church Silver Award.
